A selection of our clients

Why use asset-based data?

Many financial institutions have committed to making their portfolios net zero by 2050 or sooner. Yet this complex goal is made even more challenging by the lack of comprehensive, high-quality data. This is where Asset Impact’s asset-based data comes in.

Unlike sourcing data solely from corporate disclosures, our asset-based data is derived directly from underlying assets, which are any object in the economy that produces emissions, such as a power plant or steel mill.  As a result, our asset-based data is global, granular, comparable and transparent.

Our database houses millions of data points, linking physical assets in the real economy and their activities and emissions to companies and securities.
